
Murder Prevention
Continuing on from last week's dramatic episode of Murder Prevention, events take on a larger significance when Una McCreedy's (Aislinn Sands) target is revealed to be a radical Muslim cleric Sa'im Beshir (Hassani Shapi). Commander Wicker insists that they focus on finding the paymaster, not protecting the victim.
Patrick (Conor Mullen) defies orders and gives Beshir a bullet-proof vest for protection. Neil (Sean Gallagher) mistrusts Ray (Mark Lewis Jones) and is suspicious of Fallon's (Frank McUsker) motives. He asks for a transfer but Patrick isn't prepared to let him go - at least until the operation on Una McCreedy is complete. Defying orders, Neil brings Una back to HQ, putting the unit and his job at risk. Ray is furious with him and in the aftermath, it leads Neil to question whether Gibson's death was a suicide after all.
Meanwhile Karen's (Sarah Smart) attempts to snare potential killer David Gill (Ronnie Fox) go wrong when he fails to take the bait. Patrick has no choice but to call off the operation. Karen is disappointed and although she's been told to go home, she stays on at the club with Veronica (Cristina Catalina) and Dean (Danny Nussbaum), who is paying her a great deal of attention. But the flirting and drinking have a sinister purpose. After a while Karen starts to feel dizzy and Dean escorts her into a cab. Then she catches a glimpse of the driver - Gill...
