When the Ting Tings were in Australia this week they dropped in to triple j to tell Dools and Linda how much they're enjoying the different responses to That's Not My Name.
"You go on youtube and there's loads of people just singing it in their bedroom and doing like the weirdest dances. And recently a comedy in the UK had done a sketch of our video and that was really funny. She had exactly the same clothes that we was wearing in the video and she was going 'They call me Goldfrapp, they call me White Stripes, we look the same, we're all the same'. And I was going oh, I really like all them bands, that's a real compliment."
Fans of British rock should keep an ear out for Mongrel, a new supergroup made up of members of Reverend And The Makers, Babyshambles and Arctic Monkeys, as well as London rapper Lowkey from the Poisonous Poets.
Their debut album is due out in the UK October 22nd.
A run of live dates were scheduled in November but had to be cancelled as some of the band members are just a little too busy with their other bands...
Another big electronic music festival has been announced for November.

The new album from Dukes Of Windsor is out this week.
They recorded it in Sweden and got alocal hardcore legends Pelle Henriccson and Eskil Lövström in to produce it.
And on Home and Hosed, Oscar and Jack told Caroline about the special gift they gave them during the sessions.
"We bought them an axe and we had a plaque put on it as a thankyou to them. It was symbolic of the way they hack at songs and they just cut off the flab. That's one of the gifts that they brought to the album."
And that's one of the reasons the album is called Minus.
Dukes Of Windsor start a national tour in Adelaide September 25th. Get allthe dates at our gig guide.
Something With Numbers release their album Engineering The Soul this weekend.
It was recorded in Brooklyn with producer Tim O'Heir, who's built his profile working with bands like Dinosaur Jr and The All-American Rejects.
On Home and Hosed Jake and Lachlan from Something With Numbers reported that Tim's connections in the New York music scene came in particularlyu handy for them when they were working on the track We'll Fight.
"We wanted something more in that song. Y'know it was pretty much just our own instruments and Tim came up with the idea... 'oh, let's get some horns in' and we're like ok we can try that for sure. And he's like 'oh ok, I'll call up my friends the Dap Kings'. So we're like - cool, sick, awesome. And then they came in and went to town on the thing."
The Dap Kings are the same players used by Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse.
Something With Numbers are on a massive national tour supported by triple j. Get all the dates and venues here.
We can confirm the rumours are true - Neil Young is coming to Australia this summer.

My Morning Jacket will be the support act at each show.
The tour publicists have told triple j that fans in New Zealand and around other parts of Australia should stay tuned for a special announcement related to the tour.
Neil Young has been one of the acts rumoured for the Big Day Out 2009, along with Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Simian Mobile Disco and many more. Stay listening to triple j - we'll have the official announcement first on Tuesday Sept 30.
Sydney based indie act Mercy Arms have just put out their debut album.
The past two years have been a bit of a rollercoaster ride for the act, who were signed to one of the biggest labels in the US in 2006 on the strength of four songs on their website!
"I think we were all 19, 20 and literally two months later we were in LA, New York, London. We sat there on the top of Capitol Records, the infamous round building with the President Andy Slater saying 'Forget these guys, forget these guys, we want to do this. Where do you wanna go, where do you wanna record?' So it was very surreal."
They got their first advance and bought some gear to start work - then Capitol went through a merger and their deal fell through. So they've released this self-titled debut independently.
Mercy Arms are touring nationally for triple j until mid September. All the dates and venues are on our gig guide.
The Bronx are back with a new album and an Australian tour on the horizon.
It's their third album and it'll be self-titled, just like the last two.
They recorded with Dave Schiffman who's worked with acts like Rage Against The Machine, System Of A Down and The Mars Volta.
The Bronx (III) is due in November and online rumours reckon there'll be a mariachi version released at the same time. All the same songs but in a traditional Mexican style with the title El Bronx.
We can't confirm that either way - but we are sure that The Bronx have an Australian tour scheduled for December with shows in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Get details at the gig guide.
