It's a new month, which means a NEW MIX UP RESIDENT DJS!
UK electro group DELPHIC will be taking over Mix Up for the first hour, putting together an exclusive mix every week throughout July!
triple j listeners will be familiar with DELPHIC’s euphoric electro sound. Their debut album 'Acolyte' was featured on triple j earlier in the year, and tracks from the album including Doubt, Counterpoint and Halcyon continue to be heard all over the airwaves.
Hailing from Manchester, it’s no surprise DELPHIC is often compared to New Order and Joy Division. A comparison the band embraces and dares to surpass. This passion for what they do can been seen on stage, with DELPHIC live shows throbbing with energy, accompanied by impressive light displays.
Gearing up for DELPHIC’s return to Australia as part of the Splendour In The Grass line-up and a bunch of headline shows around the country in August, we’ve asked them to return to their computers and mixers to put together a fine selection of tunes every week.
Their residency will be filled with some of their favourite club tracks, exclusive remixes from their debut album 'Acolyte', and other music that’s gunna make you get up and dance!
