Carsick: The State Of The State's Car Industry
Despite another bout of hopeful headlines about a new small car, the New Year isn't looking too bright for thousands of Holden workers who will return to fewer shifts and deepening uncertainty about their future.
It's another sign of the car industry's woes, even with the Federal Government pouring in billions of dollars in subsidies.
In the United States, the outlook is even worse for the car giants, with Holden's parent company in deep trouble
Fire Danger
Next Monday, 1 December, is the official start of summer. But the bushfire season is clearly already under way.

Green Classroom
What do you get when you combine growing pains with green thumbs? For Woodville High, the answer is a school garden that's keeping troubled kids in school.
Lake Bonney Update
