Frank Watters

Frank Watters opened one of the first galleries to show contemporary art in Australia, and helped foster the work of young visual artists of the 1960s and 70s.

In this interview Frank Watters recalls the lively and volatile art milieu of this period and the censorious (and occasionally farcical) public reaction to the 'shock of the new' modern Australian art.
