Kate Webb

The Australian journalist Kate Webb, who died in 2007, was never afraid of risking her life in pursuit of a story. She took herself to Vietnam to report on the war, was captured by the Vietcong, and was wrongly assumed to have been shot dead. In this interview, recorded in 2003, Kate Webb talks about her long career in journalism, and the gypsy life of a foreign correspondent.
