This week's program starts out with a piece from two lads who draw on the great American songbook for inspiration. They take well known pieces and then play them in a way that works around the melody -- check out their interpretation of 'Camptown Races'. There's great new electronica from a woman who grew up in East Germany, then made pop music in the west and now makes a kind of sonic investigation into composition. New stuff from the Orb, Man Man, Santogold and much more [even new Daniel Lanois].
And in the second hour, new music from The Presets and Diskjokke as well as a solid steel radio show from OOFT!
