Julie Lewis began writing in Perth in 1964, mainly for radio, broadcasting over the ABC Women's Session and Scope programmes. She has had stories published in journals and anthologies, and has also written articles and reviews for numerous publications and for radio. Her previous publications for Fremantle Arts Centre Press include Memories of Childhood and The Story of Catherine King and The Women's Session.
