China's milk scandal
Less than a month after the triumphant Olympic Games ended, four babies have died and more than 50,000 children have fallen sick after drinking a milk formula laced with melamine. Now melamine, you probably heard, is the nitrogen-rich chemical usually used in fertiliser and it's said to boost the protein content of milk products.
