Intrigue in the West
|
The West Australian newspaper is a paper under siege.
The board and the editor of WA's state daily are being attacked on all fronts with claims of inaccuracy, overdone agendas and personal attacks that go too far.
This week Kerry Stokes rode into town to formally voice his dissatisfaction with the paper and the current editor Paul Armstrong.
Stokes owns close to 20 per cent of West Australian Newspapers, and is angling for a seat on the board and ultimately, it seems, control of his home town paper.
