Who Killed Channel Nine?

This year marked the first in more than three decades that channel nine wasn't the number one rating station in the country.

Coincidentally, around the same time as Nine's fall from grace became official, one of the industry's legends, Gerald Stone, brought out a book which sought to explore why you could see this coming. 'Who Killed Channel Nine?' is the title.

At its core the book addresses how Channel Nine might be turned around, how it might be turned from one type of television station that dominated throughout the last 30 years into something very different?

How do big brands, in other words, reinvent themselves?
