The race for president
|
The race for nominations for the next president of the United States will move from the outfield to the starting grid in just over a month from now.
The long haul to the first Tuesday next November in a little under a year from now starts in Iowa on January 3, that's where first votes will be cast for both Republican and Democrat nominees.
The respective battles for leadership of the two parties couldn't have looked more different this week
In Florida, we had the Republican candidates subject themselves to a CNN sponsored debate, which took questions from the voting public via YouTube!
Meanwhile in Southern California the front runner for the Democrats' nomination, Hillary Clinton, was courting the evangelical Christian vote -- an unusual move but, as we'll find out, these weren't just any old evangelical Christians.
