Australia's Ambassador to India

India is on the move, its economy is expanding rapidly, and over the next few years it will play a more important role in international affairs. India is Australia's ninth largest export market; we export gold, coal, copper ores and wool to a value of over 3 billion dollars. But we need to build more relationships at levels other than trade, according to our High Commissioner, John McCarthy.
