Visit of the Turkish Prime Minister

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey has been in Australia, the first visit by a Turkish prime minister to this country. He is a fascinating man, who has spent time in prison for his views, the leader of a conservative Muslim party, and a firm believer in liberal democracy, who presides over a vital, multicultural, rapidly changing society.
