Music - Rameau

We hear the overture to Dardanus, one of many operas written by the greatest of French Baroque composers, Jean-Philippe Rameau. He was also a fine organist and musical theorist, and described by more than one of his contempories as having a 'physiognomy more like a ghost than a man... being of sharp chin, no stomach, flutes for legs.' Well it didn't stop him writing a fine tune.
