Retail Shakeout

The sales are on for the end of the year, but behind all the hooopla is the sobering fact that retailing turnover is in the doldrums. Myer is one of the department stores suffering most, and there is even talk that Coles, its parent company, wants to sell it off. Are we really giving up on mid-range department stores?
