Blogging at the age of 107 would seem to be a feat beyond most.
But Olive Riley is an unusual woman for a number of reasons, not least because she has lived to a ripe old age while maintaining a lucid mind and a quirky sense of humour.

Olive Riley is 107 and a blogger
The blog is both a diary of Olive's world at 107 and a history of her life since her birth in Broken Hill in 1899.
Olive doesn't actually sit at the computer - filmmaker Mike Rubbo does that - but she loves her blog, or blob as she calls it, and it has received thousands of hits.

A US museum has teamed with internet search engine company Google on a project to demonstrate the complexities of the violence in Dafur.
The online mapping project allows users to examine photographs of events in the Sudan by using Google Earth.
Broadband speed

Kevin Rudd's $4.7 billion dollar broadband proposal has grabbed our attention. The leader of the Opposition has said the project would take five years to complete and calls it 'nation-building in the 21st century'. By world standards Australian broadband is slow, but there are still questions about what the project would mean for people on the ground.
