Smokers Corner

This program was made as a 'balance' to the relentless and successful campaign against smoking and the virtual ostracisation of smokers from the work place.

Author Richard Klein explains why he thinks 'Cigarettes are Sublime' and comments on the glamour of celebrity with which smoking was once sold.

Also this week: Three by Three, probably the only program ever made which co-stars Erich von Daniken, Tony Greig and a choir of Tibetan monks, a short feature about the 'significance' of trios, triples or thirds - in this case cricket's third man, the third eye and the strange conspiracy known as 'Alternative 3'.
