Liberal Party blues: divisions in the West

It's been an uncomfortable year for WA's Liberals, who have had to endure sleaze scandals and a swag of high-profile resignations. Besides, weren't the shenanigans of former premier Brian Burke meant to be Labor's problem? Well, not when it comes embattled Liberal leader Troy Buswell, whose leadership has come under threat over his softly-softly approach to a colleague's close relationship with Mr Burke. To make things worse, there's now a start-up conservative party out hunting for Liberal votes. Can the Libs get their act together before the next state election? Or is there more pain ahead?
