Live from the Pt Fairy Folk Festival and Womadelaide

This week Music Deli is bringing you two programs of live music from two of Australia's most popular music festivals, the Port Fairy Folk Festival in Victoria and Womadelaide in South Australia.
On Friday night at 8pm, take a front row seat in the tent for some very special jug band music with the inimitable Mic Conway's National Junk band as well as a set from the Moonshine String and Jug Band featuring rock icons John Brewster and his brother Rick, as well as special guest Jim Conway.
And then on Sunday afternoon from 4pm, a concert from the amazing gospel and soul singer - Mavis Staples. After 40 years of singing and performing on the world stage, Mavis is an inspired and inspiring performer who's live concert at Womadelaide 2008, was a knockout.
So tune in and join us for a festival weekend of great live music on Music Deli right here on ABC Radio National.
