Patty Griffin in Concert in Australia

In November 2007 the Austin Texas based singer and songwriter Patty Griffin made her first visit to Australia for a short season of concerts. Word spread and the concerts sold out quickly. Listen to this week's Music Deli and you'll hear why artists like Emmylou Harris, Mary Chapin Carpenter, The Dixie Chicks and Solomon Burke record her songs, and why audiences are flocking to hear Patty Griffin.
Patty Griffin with guitarist Doug Lancio recorded by Music Deli at the Northcote Social Club.
