Arrebato
|
The rarely used Spanish word 'Arrebato' has been defined as 'a sudden and intense burst of emotion, a feeling, fury or ecstasy...' In this week's Music Deli we hear a recent live performance from the Sydney-based contemporary flamenco outfit Arrebato, who use the emotional lure of flamenco as a base for their original music, featuring the sound of the cello, double bass, guitar, saxophone, percussion and voice.
