Community radio is playing a wait-and-see game at the moment. They, like their public and commercial counterparts, are keen to begin broadcasting next year in digital format. But they've just missed out on gaining an ownership stake in the commercial radio multiplex that will give them spectrum for digital broadcast. And now, with the launch of digital radio in Australia less than a year away, they're uncertain where their future lies.
