Vita Activa: the legal minefield

As a volunteer, do you know your rights and responsibilities?

Do you know, when you turn up to volunteer, whether you're covered if you have an accident on the job? Or have you recently had to undergo a police check in order to volunteer and been told to pay for it yourself?

Today on Vita Activa, our regular series on volunteering, we're talking about something that's becoming increasingly burdensome for volunteers, volunteer managers and voluntary organisations alike.

We're talking about the increasingly complex area of legal issues and liability that's having a real impact on volunteers today.
