Already well over 100-thousand dead and counting.
You've probably seen those distressing pictures of dead and suffering people coming out of Burma in the wake of Cyclone Nargis.
Probably they provoked both sadness and anger.
Sadness because of the misery, but anger because so many people could be saved right now if the military regime immediately let more supplies and aid workers into the devastated Irrawaddy Delta.
Malcolm Cook, the East-Asia Programme Director at the Lowy Institute, tells us why disaster aid gets into some regions quickly but has very little chance of hitting the mark in others.
