Coming up this Saturday 19/01/2002 Life With Mermaids It began as A Young Mermaid's Guide to Planet Earth: a one-off, feisty booklet where a group of young women who'd been down and out but were climbing back up expressed their views on life and the world. Now it's become an interactive performance that tours high schools, inviting the girls in the audience to join the performance and change the lives of the main characters. They tackle teen pregnancy, suicide, domestic violence, drug addiction.... Life's not easy when you're a Mermaid but these young women believe experience can lead to knowledge and knowledge makes you strong.
