First Person - The Brendan Voyage

After his trip to see the curragh men of the Dingle Penisula in south-west Ireland, Tim is convinced that it would have been possible for St Brendan to actually have set out to sea and crossed the Atlantic in one of these boats. He embarks on the extensive research necessary to build an exact replica of an early medieval boat made of leather.
