The first of four programs on just a few of the interesting people Julie Copeland has met in the art world. American scholar Louis Luprecht Jr traces the history of the first ever public art museum, the Vatican Museum, which began in 18th century Rome, largely due to the so-called father of modern art history, German scholar Johan Winkleman.
