Conversation with Alec Tzannes

Alec Tzannes says it is time to overhaul the planning laws Australia-wide, as they are outdated and not able to take us forward. We need planning that enforces sustainability and we need to educate the public to understand the new aesthetic that flows from these changes. We are at a cultural crossroad, needing to activate critical thinking. Today's architecture students are learning to design virtually -- reflecting changes in the way we think and live.
