The Salvation Army tackles the subject of suicide
Anyone who has experienced the suicide of someone close knows how devastating it can be. But too often these people experience a second trauma, when they discover there is no appropriate or sympathetic help around. Today the Salvation Army is announcing its Hope for Life campaign. It features a number of initiatives in the quest to prevent suicide.
The Salvation Army's 24-hour National Hope Line for people bereaved of family or friends as a result of suicide is 1300 467 354.
