New foundation to provide cancer research
It's a cancer that affects more than 1,000 Australians every year, but very little is known about sarcoma.
In most cases it affects people between the ages of 12 and 25, but with such a small amount of research available, only 50 per cent of people suffering from it survive. Now, former swimming champion Tracey Wickham has launched a foundation dedicated to finding a cure for the rare form of cancer.
Late last year, Tracey's daughter Hannah Ciobo-O'Driscoll died from sarcoma. She was 19.
