Boys and eating disorders
In an age where body image among teens is paramount, it's now estimated that eating disorders like Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia may affect one in 10 male adolescents
Highlighting the fact that many eating disorders among males continue to go undiagnosed, earlier this year, Britain's former deputy prime minister John Prescott revealed that he'd battled Bulimia for more than 20 years.
A focus on body image is one of the aims of Eating Disorders Week, which begins today. The National Helpline is 1300 550 236.
