New Orleans braces for Hurricane Gustav
New Orleans is bracing for what its mayor called 'the mother of all storms'. After wreaking havoc in Cuba, Hurricane Gustav is heading towards the US coast, expected to make landfall tomorrow and packing a punch potentially as powerful as Hurricane Katrina.
Tens of thousands of people across the US Gulf Coast have now fled their homes. But all eyes are on New Orleans, which bore the brunt of Hurricane Katrina almost three years ago to the day.
