In an embarrassing diplomatic incident, an Australian briefing paper given out to journalists was a little too frank in its description of New Zealand's prime minister, Helen Clarke. The booklet, which was like a guide for journalists on the particiapting countries at the Pacific Islands forum, described Ms Clark as a 'left-wing control freak'.
