COAG's deal on the Murray Darling River
The key outcome from yesterday's COAG meeting was a deal on the Murray Darling River, but what was announced yesterday will not save the river immediately. Mike Young is a Wentworth Group scientist and Professor of Water Economics and Management at the University of Adelaide. He says the river is still screaming out for help, and there's a need for urgent crisis management.
