COAG: harmonising occupational safety laws

Today's COAG meeting will include a push to harmonise the 15 occupational health and safety laws across the country. The federal government says a single set of matching workplace safety laws will create greater efficiency, but unions fear it's a mechanism for extending the weakest safety laws nationwide.
