African summit on Zimbabwe
The African summit in Egypt is still grappling with the problem of Zimbabwe, and is debating a resolution calling on Robert Mugabe's government to enter into a power sharing deal with the opposition.
In the meantime, the US is pushing the United Nations for stronger sanctions against Zimbabwe, while France said it will only recognise a governement led by opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai.
