Calls for a Papal apology

World Youth Day is now two weeks away and preparations are well underway in Sydney. The all-important pope-mobile has arrived and in one of the world's largest catering projects, 800,000 pre- prepared meals are being cooked for the visitors. But away from the logistics, there is a mounting expectation that the Pope will offer an official apology to Australian victims of Church sexual abuse. One advocacy group has written to the Pope asking him to meet with Australian victims, saying an official apology is well overdue.
