Federal politics with Michelle Grattan - Alco-pop tax
After the government's budget sales pitch the focus will shift to opposition leader Brendan Nelson, who will deliver his budget reply tonight in parliament. He is promising a comprehensive response to the federal budget but It's not clear how much detail will be on offer. But one thing is already clear, the oppostion has decided to talk tough on the alco-pop tax, threatening to block it in the Senate.
