Deadly bomb attacks in Jaipur
After the cyclone in Burma and the earthquake in China, our region has been hit by another tragedy, with an attack in the Indian city of Jaipur. At least 80 people were killed and 150 injured in a series of bomb blasts in one of the country's most popular tourist destinations. Seven bombs exploded within 12 minutes of each other, with the first going off near the Palace of Winds, the city's most famous landmark. The Indian government has called it a terrorist attack and has placed the country on high alert.
