Ben Sandilands from the Financial Review has taken up the interesting issue of politicians membership to the Qantas Chairmans Lounge. The key question he raises is: Should politicians declare their free membership to this elite transit club as a pecuniary interest? In the United States, politicians receiving this kind of hospitality could find themselves out of a job or in jail. We speak to Ben to find out if there is a similar situation here in Australia.
