They say a year is a long time in politics, and surely 2001 will be remebered as one of the longest. We had by-elections, state elections, a Federal election and of course, the War on Terrorism. Mungo MacCallum is a veteran political observer and former doyen of the infamous Canberra Press Gallery. He's just written a book called "Mungo: The Man Who Laughs", which he describes as a "....ramble through the Australian political landscape". He joins us to take a ramble through the year that's been.
