6:48: TIMOR INDUSTRIAL: Alsion Tate, spokesperson for the Australian People for Health Education and Development Association (APHEDA), talks about the challenge ahead in East Timor. The immediate demands of dealing with health and housing have been the main focus of aid efforts but there's a growing sense of urgency about the need to put in place measures that protect the East Timorese who find work in the fledging nation.

7:37: PARAGLIDERS: We catch up with Tim Anderson, one of two paragliders who were attempting to fly across Australia - from Western Australia to Byron Bay. Tim and Steve Gates have made it and raised money for Canteen and the Royal Flying Docotors Service.

7:37: PHILLIP RUDDOCK: Immigration Minister Phillip Ruddock talks about recent developments in the controversy surroundign Australia's immigrant detention centres. Yesterday, he said he was considering a proposal to house the children and their mothers in separate quarters.

7:48: HONEYMOON URANIUM: The Australian Government is planning to give the go-ahead for this country's fifth uranium mine. The mine, called 'Honeymoon', will be located in South Australia, about 75 kilometres north-west of Broken Hill. We're joined by Tom Hunter, project executive for Canadian-owned company in charge of the mine - Southern Cross Resources Pty Ltd - and David Noonan, campaign officer with the Australian Conservation Foundation, to discuss the issue.

7:55: WOLLEMI CREATURES: Guy Cooper, director of Sydney'sTaronga Zoo, talks about their new exhibition unlocking the secrets of the Wollemi.

8:06: GLOBAL CORAL: Dr Clive Wilkinson, co-ordinator of the Global Coral Reef Monitoring Network, talks about his new report into the status of the world's coral supply. It says in 1998, global climate temperatures soared, resulting in mass coral bleaching that killed 16% of the world's coral.Humans also had a hand, destroying 11% of coral through pollution, over-fishing and development.

8:22: WEBB CINEMA: The town of Ayr is getting a new cinema, and it's being run by the family of none other than local sports star, Carrie Webb. Her father, Robert Webb, joins us to talk about the opening.
