6:37: RENEWABLE ENERGY: The renewable energy industry in Australia is worth around $8 billion, is growing at 25% a year and exporting about one-third of its total turnover. David Abba, chief executive officer of the Sustainable Energy Industry Association, joins us to discuss a new Federal Government plan calling for an additional 2% of their output from renewable sources by 2010 as a key plank in their greenhouse response strategy currently being sold at the world climate conference in The Hague.
