Ron Barassi
04/03/2008
Ron Barassi is one of the greats of AFL footy, a legendary player and four-time premiership coach of Carlton and North Melbourne. His career spans more than 50 years and he's probably had more influence on the game of Australian Rules football than any other player or coach.
Now aged 72, Ron Barassi is the latest subject in the book series Icons of Australian Sport which contains much of his private memorabilia and scrapbook collection, with glimpses into the private life and private thoughts of the AFL legend.
