ACTU calls for national inquiry into asbestos

There's so much asbestos in Australian homes and buildings that, last week, a British study predicted one in ten Australian carpenters born before 1950 will die of mesothelioma. It's a shocking statistic, partly prompting the ACTU to today call on the federal government to launch a national inquiry into asbestos.
