The health of the Australian film industry relies on tax breaks and cooperative funding agreements. Last year the Howard government introduced the Australian Screen Production Incentive, a generous 40% tax offset for Australian-made movies. It's aimed at stimulating and creating employment in the local film industry. But George Miller's latest 200 million dollar movie Justice League Mortal looks like it might not be eligible to receive the tax break.
