Celebrating the world of the book

Drawing on the rare collections of the State Library of Victoria, The World Of The Book is a beautifully illustrated celebration of the book.

Books can mirror our real worlds, they are windows into imagined worlds and can hold ideas powerful enough to change our worlds.

And as The World Of The Book shows itself, books are also wonderful artistic objects of desire.

The book's authors, Des Cowley and Clare Williamson, speak to Peter Mares for The Book Show.
