The short story now

In the world of writing, it's said that the short story, as a literary form, is out of favour. But here in Australia it seems to be undergoing a kind of boom. A panel of guests joins Ramona Koval to discuss the issue.

has been described as: 'possibly the most successful short-fiction writer in Australia' and has just had a story published in The New Yorker.
Robert Drewe
an acclaimed novelist and columnist who has also written plays and non-fiction, as well as having had published a couple of anthologies of his own short stories, and having edited three collections of other people's stories.
George Dunford
member of a publishing collective that has just published its fourth anthology of short fiction under the imprint of the Cardigan Press.
