Blot+Scribble – audio postcards from Australia’s literary edge
Contribute to ABC Radio National’s Book Show and Pool collaborative online documentary project ‘Letter Vox’.
Calling all hacks, scribblers and ranters from Australia’s literary outposts. We want you to paint a picture of the way you relate to and engage with books and writing—as readers, writers and commentators.
Perhaps you belong to a poetry reading group, you read non-fiction with a group of friends in Broome, you’re studying creative writing, or you have a fantasy fiction writing group in Snug, Tasmania.
Maybe you whittle the night hours away with your fan-fiction, you’ve written a novel in a month or you’ve gone to a literary salon?
Or have you written about love letters in the library, rejection letters you’ve received from publishers, or do you have a satirical spin on the classic author interview?
Record an audio piece for Blot + Scribble of between 5 and 10 minutes. There is a focus on audio, but images, video and music are welcome too.
Share a story from the literary edge into Pool, tag it as ‘Blot and Scribble', and it can become part of ABC Radio National's Book Show project.
Pool is a creative commons, open-source, experimental collaborative media creation web space developed by the ABC, tertiary institutions and a community of contributors, that's you!
